Lil T Jay a popular Bronx– born rapper with huge fan following was one of two people shot in New Jersey, currently. It was just after some days declaring it was going to be a good summer. As per reports of Mypost.com Lil was struck multiple Times at the promenade in Edgewater.
As per official statements cops responded to reports of shorts fired at the location just after the midnight. When they arrived they found young popular 21 year old Lil T Jay. T Jay was multiple gunshots wounds. After the incident both were transported to an area hospital for immediate treatment.
According to reports Lil T Jay underwent emergency surgery. But at this officials did not release any conditions. According to officials shooting happened after some Mohamed konate tried to rob T Jay, Boyd and a third person the rapper was with young Jeffery Valdez.
As per Officials both Boyd and Valdez had an unlawful weapon at that time. Later, Konate arrested by detectives from the bergen county prosecutor’s office and the New York police department.
Konate is charged under the three counts of attempted murder, three counts of robbery with arms, two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. With fourth degree aggravated assault.
Also, Valdez and Boyd both were charged with unlawful possession a weapon. Taken to Bergen County jail in Hackensack awaiting an initial hearing.
